This is an animated ad I made to showcase the grand re-opening of one of Save Mart's stores. This ad was part of a paid media campaign that aired at a local Galaxy Theater in Riverbank, CA. I was tasked with designing and animating the various elements throughout the video. The photography was provided by the Save Mart team, as well as from stock photo sites.
The team at The Save Mart Companies wanted to showcase to their employees and vendors how their various stores were doing and generate a general sense of excitement throughout the company. I was tasked with creating an animated opener and editing together various photos they provided me with.
Here are a few examples of some email newsletter designs I art directed and designed myself. I wanted each one to have very fluid motion to drive users from top to bottom and to present the sales and various promotions in a visually engaging way. The client provided some bare wireframes detailing what items, sales, and ad campaigns to feature and then I took this information and designed the pieces you see below.

March Madness and snacks go hand in hand, which is why I designed this series of story slides for Foodmaxx's Instagram page. I used their colors and typography to stay consistent with their brand. I wanted something fun, vibrant, and energetic to match the vibe of March Madness. I designed and animated each slide.

Here are a few other examples of March Madness stories I designed and animated for each store. These were meant to show the prices of specific snacks being sold in-store.

Various wine pairing combinations are always very popular, especially amongst wine connoisseurs. This post educates customers on the best chocolate and wine pairing combinations that can be bought at all Save Mart and Lucky stores. I designed and animated these slides myself using their respective brand colors and typography.

Wine is a big sellar at TSMC stores, being that many of their wine sold in-store is local to the area. Many people identify with their astrological sign, so the marketing team tasked me with designing carousel posts for each store promoting wines sold at each store and which sign they pair best with. This was a fun project to design and I'm really happy with the results.

The Save Mart Company respects and admires the hard-working mothers that keep their stores running and their customers coming back, so they wanted to highlight a few store associates in a Mother's Day post. This was fun to work on because I loved getting to use images of actual employees who are mothers, as well as hearing a bit about what motherhood means to them.

Below are some of my favorite social media videos that I had the pleasure of shooting, designing, and animating for The Save Mart Companies.
For this post they tasked me with designing and animating an intro slide to a series of photos of mother's shopping at their three different grocery stores. I designed and edited these from scratch, using brand colors from each store.

Here's an example of an Instagram reel promoting a new product being featured at each store. I was given complete creative freedom to design and animate these reels however I wanted. This was a fun post to work on because I actually took photos of all the products you see in the animation. For the chile rotation, I got hatch chiles from in-store and took photos of them at different angles and then played each photo sequentially in After Effects to achieve the allusion of movement.

Here are a few examples of in-store signage at Save Mart, Lucky and FoodMaxx that I designed myself. This was fun to work on because I got to learn the finer points of print design. I used Adobe InDesign to create these signs and I had to ensure that the finished result was an accurate print proof that the printers would be able to print and display in the correct dimensions.
These are signs advertising custom, giant cookies that are sold at each of the three stores. Animation is fun, but sometimes it's nice to just design something and not have to worry about adding motion. I was given complete creative freedom to design these signs however I saw fit.

Below are various Instagram reels that I filmed and edited. I worked with the marketing team to help ideate and execute these concepts at each store. The goal of these videos was to inform customers about prices of specific items being sold in-store, as well as any sales going on. I didn't want these to be boring videos of me just holding up fruit in front of my camera, so in order to make them more visually engaging I implemented some creative in-camera transitions, used multiple angles, and even appeared on camera to add a more personal element and maintain visual interest. I and Save Mart were very happy with the results and these videos helped immensely to drive up customer engagement.
